We are proud to announce the new ECUMASTER Racing Dash product family. We developed the ADU5 and ADU7 in response to market demand for a cost-effective dash display with logging capabilities. Our specific goal was to create a fully customizable, feature-rich, high-quality solution for racers. We consulted with professional drivers and race engineers and designed the ADU to exceed their requirements.
Most importantly, the ADU is designed to display all important information in an easy-to-read manner and provide a comprehensive alarm display strategy.
Our Advanced Display Units are available in a 5" and a 7" version. Both versions feature high resolution, anti-glare screens that guarantee perfect visibility in all lighting conditions. The ADU comes with several pre-configured pages that can be customized by the end user to display the data needed at each stage of the race (e.g. practice, qualifying, race, troubleshooting, etc.). The pages can be changed manually or automatically (based on defined conditions). Each channel displayed on a page (gauges, icons, texts, etc.) can be easily changed in real time using user-friendly Windows-based software. Our comprehensive overlay system allows for multi-page display of important data (e.g. low oil pressure, best lap, etc.) regardless of the actual page displayed.
The ADU is also equipped with 15 ultra-bright RGB LEDs that can be used as an advanced gear-sensitive shift light and modified by custom logic (for alarms, low fuel, etc.).
Using IR beacons or a GPS system, the dashboard turns into a powerful lap timer with predictive timing capability. By selecting the "Qualification" page, you activate a "Qualification Mode" that uses advanced, predictive lap timing based on an automatically updated "best" reference lap.
User-configurable timers can be set for additional functionality (pit stop timer, etc.). The ADU also supports thermal cameras to monitor brake discs or tire temperatures (up to 16 points per tire).
Communication with other devices in the vehicle is achieved via two integrated, independent CAN BUS communication ports. CAN templates are provided for most common ECUs and are fully configurable, allowing you to connect our hardware to virtually any engine management system.
To ensure that all functions work seamlessly, our device is based on a 32-bit automotive controller coupled with a state-of-the-art graphics processor. This combination provides the perfect working environment for any engineer or driver and guarantees high-quality graphics with anti-aliasing and 50 frames per second.
For further analysis, the data channels can be saved to a USB flash drive at a frequency of up to 500 Hz. Thanks to our state-of-the-art software, Data Master, you can dive deep into the data.
All of these must-have features and more are housed in a robust, custom CNC-machined, black anodized housing.
